Guests revealed for latest John Mulaney talk show episode

The success of any talk show depends on the person hosting it. Of course, the reason behind the popularity of any talk show is the type and quality of guests appearing on it, but the host plays a major role in driving the traffic. Well, it turns out the Netflix special of John Mulaney is already making it to the list.

The famous comedian has hosted several talk shows so far. The good part is that he always comes back with a twist in the format of the show and serves something new to the audience. Just like that, last year, he came back with a new talk show called John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA. After hosting a successful season last year, the actor is back with the second season. The musical guest of the evening was Cypress Hill.

The first episode aired on March 12th with Michael Keaton, Joan Baez and Fred Armisen as guests. It was a huge hit, and now Mulaney is back with the second episode.

It airs on Tuesday, May 7th and will feature comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld, actress and icon Natasha Lyonne, and musical guest Weyes Blood. Each guest brings a personal brand of cool, and when it is paired with the unhinged humour and chaos of the host, energy is unpredictable.

Everybody’s in L.A. runs live over six nights during “Netflix is a Joke Fest”. It is not your average talk show; it is much more than that. You can say that it is weird in a very L.A. way. And not just the monologues and guests; it is the strange interviews with the city workers and viewers having specific concerns about the city of L.A.

In the first episode, Mulaney sets the tone of the show. The goal seems not to reinvent the talk show but to try to break it politely. It is like a light-headed watch, pure dry humour, something you can watch after a long day and have a good laugh. The second episode seems to continue the vibe.

What makes the show a brilliant performance is that it is aired live on Netflix, which is rare. Keeping that in mind, the show becomes more enjoyable, knowing that all of it is happening in real time. So, if you have not already been watching, give Everybody’s in LA a watch. Because with John Mulaney, everyone knows they are in it, but nobody knows what they are doing!
