First-look images of new 'Emily in Paris' season teased by Netflix

Netflix have just released first-look images of the third season of hit show Emily in Paris, created by Darren Star, who is also behind Sex and the City.

The show was renewed for a third and fourth season at the beginning of the year, however, these images are the first glimpse of potential events to come in the Lily Collins-led romantic comedy show.

Although there is no official release date yet, production for the highly-anticipated third season began in June 2022, so there’s a big chance of a release coming at the beginning of 2023.

Netflix will be sharing more information about the new season during a virtual Tudum event which will take place tomorrow (September 24th). Until then, all we know is that Emily will be facing even more life-changing decisions during her time in Paris, both in her romantic and work endeavours.

In a recent interview with Digital Spy, Lucas Bravo, who plays Emily’s unrequited love interest, shared that “What made this show successful will be in the next season with more twists. Everything is just amplified. I feel like Darren went a bit crazy with writing this season. He’s living with us and writing as we shoot so he’s getting inspired by our own lives, and the things we say, and the places we go to, and he just injects the Darren Star magic bubble in the middle of all that and it just goes sideways.”

New images show Emily getting close with Lucien Laviscount’s Alfie, whose character has been moved up to a series regular position for series three.
