Netflix shares final trailer for ‘Kill Boksoon’

Netflix has unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming thriller Kill Boksoon. The film stars Cannes winner Jeon Do-yeon as Gil Boksoon, a trained assassin who struggles to balance her life as a contract killer while looking after her teenage daughter. Things get much more complicated when Gil learns that her next target is present at her daughter’s parent-teacher meeting.

Kill Boksoon is set to premiere on Netflix on March 31st and stars Esom, Koo Kyo-hwan, Sul Kyung-gu and Kim Si-a. Byung Sung-hyun (Merciless, Kingmaker) served as director.

Netflix recently released the second instalment of its hit K-drama series The Glory. The show was the streaming platform’s most-watched programme for the week of March 6th to 12th. This new drama looks set to be even more popular.

The trailer opens with footage of Boksoon’s life as a contract killer. When her daughter confronts her for carrying a gun in her bag, Boksoon is forced to reassess her priorities, telling her bosses, “I might quit working once my contract ends.” Check out the full trailer below.
