Based on Stephanie Perkins’ best-selling novel, Netflix’s There’s Someone Inside Your House is the upcoming horror-slasher flick that is set to premiere in October. With an intriguing premise and a diverse set of characters, the film seems pretty interesting.
Directed by Patrick Brice, known for the Creep franchise, and produced by 21 Laps Entertainment, known for their stellar work on Stranger Things, the film will be based on the screenplay adapted by Henry Gayden.
Shawn Levy serves as an executive producer alongside The Conjuring’s James Wan whose creative inputs will surely be invaluable to the film’s development.

What is the plot of Netflix’s There’s Someone Inside Your House?
Based on Stephanie Perkins’ novel, this horror slasher flick revolves around a group of high school students plagued by a bloodthirsty serial killer. Makani Young moves from Hawaii to an isolated, Nebraska small-town to finish high school while staying with her grandmother.
Just before graduation, her classmates are stalked by a mysterious killer who wears creepy life-like masks resembling each victim and threatens to expose their darkest secrets to the entire town that might lead to subsequent ostracisation.
Makani, along with her friends, must uncover the killer’s true identity and intent before it is too late and they become the next victims of his gnarly intent.

Where did Netflix’s There’s Someone Inside Your House film?
Netflix’s There’s Someone Inside Your House had begun filming nearly two years ago in August 2019. They shot for roughly two months with production wrapping up in October 2019.
Most of the filming took place in Canada in locations such as Manitoba and British Columbia.
The production company, 21 Laps Entertainment, that worked on this film is actually a frequent collaborator of Netflix in various widely acclaimed projects, namely Stranger Things, I Am Not Okay With This, Dash & Lily and Shadow and Bone.
