When will Ozark season 4 part 2 be released on Netflix?

While the exact date has not yet been announced, Ozark season four part two is set to premiere sometime in 2022, more likely towards the end of the year.

How many episodes will there be on Ozark season 4 part 2?

When Ozark was renewed for the fourth and final season, it was revealed that the show would have a total of 14 episodes. Since the first part already had seven riveting episodes with a cliffhanger finale, Ozark season four part two will also have seven episodes that will finally bring the story of the Byrdes to an end.

What can we expect from Ozark season 4 part 2?

The first part of the fourth season of Ozark ended on a pretty dramatic note. Across the seven episodes, the series foreshadowed the fated ending of the Byrdes whose conscience has been getting greyer with every proceeding season. A harrowing portrait of how greed and lust for power transform the Byrdes, they have been in conflict from the very beginning when Wendy tried to get Jonas arrested. Jonas, too, endangers his family by working for Ruth and even letting slip the details of the final act of murder. It is essential to see if they will let go of their differences and unite in the final part to save the family business.

Ruth, who has always blamed Wendy for the misfortunes in her life, is now out for vengeance after seeing her cousin Wyatt and his partner Darlene dead. She also extracts the information about the killer Javi, from Jonas. Javis, the sole proprietor of the Navarro cartel, will be seen wreaking havoc in the final part as confirmed by the actor. Ruth and Javi’s conflict might also help Marty and Wendy exit the Navarro cartel once and for all.

On the other hand, the Byrde couple could warn the FBI and Javi about Ruth’s plans. But with former FBI agent Maya on their back, closely pursuing them, it could essentially bring an end to their ambitious and audacious plans. Wendy, the living embodiment of Lady Macbeth, is cold, calculative and ruthless. Her daughter takes after her and the matriarch stops at nothing to realise her extremely ambitious political quest.

However, the final season will finally bring to test the extent of her cunning and examine if her wit can indeed withstand the wheels of fate. The final season will definitely be a bloodbath with plenty of deaths and scathing twists that will presumably help the show end on a memorable note.

Have the episodes for Ozark season 4 part 2 already been filmed?

The fourth season was shot in various blocks from November 2020 to October 2021, adhering to the Covid-19 guidelines.

Talking about the same, Bateman had said,  “Everything is moving well toward that, and we’re very confident in the guidelines and protocols we’re going to be following. We’ve got tons of consultants, [and] we’re learning a lot from other productions.”

Ozark season four part two has thus finished filming and is possibly now in post-production.
