Every movie and series leaving Netflix this week: July 2026

Once again, Netflix is giving us the runaround, and their weekly cull has only gone and nicked another massive franchise, and if you are into your horror, you are going to be gutted. Coming July 19th, they are booting nearly the whole Saw franchise off the platform.

Netflix is taking away the original Saw, from every numbered sequel to Saw: The Final Chapter, Jigsaw, and Spiral: From the Book of Saw. Not many horror franchises have had the grip that Saw has had over the last twenty-odd years.

And even if nine films sound like a right mission, the 2004 original still rules. James Wan knocked it together on a shoestring budget and ended up changing horror for good. Gave us one of the most iconic baddies in cinema and kicked off a franchise that is still going strong over twenty years later.

If action’s more your thing, don’t be sleeping on Land of Bad either, because that’s legging it on July 18th. Got Russell Crowe and Liam Hemsworth in it, and it’s got drones, survival, rescue missions… The whole shebang.

Another one you don’t want to be snoozing on is Steven Soderbergh’s Side Effects, which is doing one on July 15th. It’s a clever psychological thriller. Best way to watch it? Go in knowing next to nothing.

The TV side of things isn’t getting battered quite as much this week, but there are still a couple heading for the exit. The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem seasons one and two are offski on July 14th. Then the British comedy Entitled follows on the 15th.

Horror heads will want to squeeze in The Cursed before July 19th, too. And that’s mostly it for this week. The departures might be underrated, but they have a cult fanbase of their own.
