Every movie and series leaving Netflix this week: July 2026
If Gilmore Girls has become your evening ritual lately, we have got bad news. Actually, scrap that. We’ve got several bits of bad news because Sex and the City is leaving as well.
Throw The Bernie Mac Show into the mix and, all of a sudden, Netflix has decided this is the perfect week to raid its comfort-TV shelf. BiA bitt harsh, if you ask us.
Let’s start with Stars Hollow because that’s probably the departure that most of us are dreading. All seven seasons of Gilmore Girls leave on July 1st, taking Lorelai’s coffee addiction, Rory’s reading list and Luke’s Diner with them. Sex and the City follows a day earlier, with all six seasons saying bye on June 30th, while Degrassi: Next Class also says goodbye after spending years as one of Netflix’s original teen dramas.
The film side isn’t showing much mercy either. Bohemian Rhapsody is leaving people! The classic that rules our hearts will now be gone, meaning Rami Malek’s Oscar-winning performance as Freddie Mercury won’t be around for much longer. Then you’ve got Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which turned a beloved Robin Williams classic into one of Hollywood’s best modern reboots also taking off.
American Hustle and Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy are both hitting the road on July 1st. Add Deepwater Horizon, Colombiana, Wild Things and Tower Heist to that list, and July is already looking expensive if you’re planning to rent them elsewhere.
The entire Madagascar collection is leaving, including Madagascar, Escape 2 Africa, Europe’s Most Wanted and Penguins of Madagascar. Paw Patrol: The Movie is heading out as well, while rom-com fans are losing My Best Friend’s Wedding, Along Came Polly and Just Go With It.
Even classics such as Field of Dreams and Steel Magnolias are packing their bags. So, have a quick look at your watchlist. You might discover Netflix has already started making decisions for you.
