Every movie and series leaving Netflix this week: February 2026
We all pretend we will watch things on our Netflix watchlist eventually, but it’s only when that tiny red expiry date shows up that we suddenly transform into full-time film historians, desperate to experience what we ignored for months. Humans, am I right? That’s exactly where we are at this week, because Netflix is clearing house once again, and the OGs know that the first of every month is always brutal.
Let us start with Mean Girls, which is packing its bags on February 5th, and every person who has been a fan of this film knows what a huge loss it is. It was right there, your comfort film, which you would tune in to every now and then. And the cult following of this film is not because it is quotable, but because it’s the way it is culturally engraved in our DNA. It’s Mean Girls that helps you realise that we peaked in the early 2000s and never really recovered.
And yes, Spencer is leaving too, which means if you have not seen Kristen Stewart mumble through devastation in a haunted royal mansion, you’d better queue it up now. That performance did not get an Oscar nomination for nothing. It truly was raw and so specific that you will never emotionally recover. Either way, you should probably get wrecked before it disappears on February 8th.
Then there is The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity, which has visuals that make you question whether you are watching a movie or having a very beautiful dream. Just gorgeous. And yes, it is absolutely leaving on February 4th, so your window to get confused and enchanted is closing fast.
Election, the 1999 Reese Witherspoon satire masterpiece that predicted half of modern politics, is also heading out. If you have never watched Tracy Flick unravel under the fluorescent lights of American public education, you are missing out on the blueprint for a thousand memes and think pieces.
Now, take a deep breath because Love/Life is also on the chopping block. Yes, both seasons. Which means you are about to lose a show that managed to make every romantic regret you have ever had feel like an indie film. It is a little too relatable, and once it is gone, you will be left wondering whether closure is even real.
And the documentaries? 30 for 30: Four Falls of Buffalo and Nature Boy are leaving, too. These are not your average game recaps; they are emotional warzones.
The holiday movies are vanishing, too, because Netflix has decided joy is seasonal. My Dad’s Christmas Date, Christmas in the Heartland, and A Holiday Engagement are all disappearing on February 7th, and yes, we are losing multiple cheesy family dramas before Valentine’s Day. Oh, Netflix, the sheer palpable disrespect.
Justin Bieber’s Believe is also bouncing, and whether you were a Belieber or a casual documentary lover, you have to admit that this one will be terribly missed. The same goes for Before Valentine’s, which is highly ironic, right? Leaving before Valentine’s? Are you kidding me?
All in all, you have exactly one week to watch before all of this disappears. Hurry up!
