Every movie and series leaving Netflix next week: September 2026
Unbelievable yet true, friends, because when you look at the Netflix removal list this week, you’ll find two titles for September 23rd, and no, you have not missed a page somewhere; that’s all. Two. Done. We know, compared with the usual exodus, this feels a little suspicious, but before you shrug and move on, one of those films is Anatomy of a Fall, so this one is worth taking a look at.
Justine Triet’s courtroom drama starts with a man found dead outside his home in the French Alps, and from there, well, forget keeping the marriage private because every grudge and every ugly little crack is taken to court to be picked apart. Awkward? That barely covers it.
Sandra Hüller plays writer Sandra Voyter, who ends up on trial while prosecutors pick through what happened between her and her husband behind closed doors. Did he fall? Did he take his own life? Was he pushed? One death, three possibilities.
Anatomy of a Fall won the Palme d’Or at Cannes and the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, while Hüller gives Sandra enough ambiguity to keep you second-guessing her long after the movie ends.
Life is also leaving Netflix on September 23rd, despite being listed as a Netflix Original. The 2018 Korean medical drama runs for 16 episodes and stars Lee Dong-wook as emergency-room doctor Ye Jin-woo, opposite Cho Seung-woo as hospital CEO Koo Seung-hyo, with much of the story built around the conflict between them.
Oh, and hey, do not expect a normal ward drama with a miracle diagnosis at the last moment, mind you, because Life is far more interested in what happens when a hospital starts thinking like a business and the doctors push back. The show tells you why money and medicine do not go well hand in hand. One enters the room; the other pushes against it.
So, yes, September 23rd is doing a very small clear-out: Anatomy of a Fall and Life, both gone on the same day.
