The September arrival arc is in full flow, meaning it’s time to update subscribers on everything coming to Netflix this week.

Netflix is opening the floodgates of content this Monday with a new animated special, Barbie in the Nutcracker; the 14th season of Gabby’s Dollhouse; a WWE special airing of Hot Ones: Extra Heat following WWE RAW; and the spin-off period drama to When Calls the Heart, When Hope Calls. So, of course, expect a busy day ahead.

Moving on to Tuesday, Netflix has back-to-back documentaries lined up for September 15th, including the A&E true-crime docuseries I Survived a Serial Killer, and The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist, co-directed by Daniel Roher and Charlie Tyrell. Also coming to Netflix the same day are The Seemingly Perfect Family and a new stand-up comedy special, Jo Koy: Blue in the Face.

Next in line is a gripping 2025 sports documentary set against the backdrop of Yosemite’s El Capitan, Girl Climber, the 2024 historical action-drama The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, and the 2023 sci-fi rom-com, Robots, scheduled to hit Netflix shelves on September 16th. Also coming to Netflix this Wednesday are Physical 100: Mexico and The Doll.

On Thursday, Netflix plans to kick things off with a Jason Bateman psychological crime thriller, Disconnect, before moving on to all things original. For those curious, the Netflix Original slate comprises the highly anticipated fourth instalment of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s series Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story, and two Turkish dramas, Not a Stranger and Seni Taniyorum.

Also coming to Netflix on September 17th are the Japanese drama Plastic Beauty, the second season of Stranger Things: Tales from ’85, and the Taiwanese drama series The Fixers. That’s all for Thursday; Friday is undoubtedly bigger and better.

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan’s coming-of-age comedy Best of the Best will help lighten the Friday roster alongside Pokémon Horizons, The Crow Club, The Scandal, and a new stand-up comedy special, Zakir Khan: Papa Yaar. Meanwhile, coming to Netflix this Saturday are On Chesil Beach, followed by Cold as Balls and Stop! That! Train! On Sunday.

But in the UK, also expect Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn, The Damned United, and Wasteman to spill all over the weekend. And with that, it’s officially a wrap for the week!
