The second half of May is about to begin, and Netflix is showing no signs of slowing down. While some titles may have left the platform last week, it is all set to launch fresh content soon. The best part is that Netflix is doubling down on both its original and international content. Some of the most anticipated shows are finally set to release after much speculation.

First in the row, all set for its release, is Bad Thoughts, but you better not have any, as this darkly comedic sketch from Tom Segura is all set to entertain you. The show leans into strange characters, absurd situations and to-the-point satire. The show is something different, but it is for sure not for the faint-hearted.

Next in line is Love, Death & Robots, the cult favourite anime series returning with a brand new Volume four. The best part about this show is that it does not work on your regular anime formulas of demons and slayers. This show experiments with technology and has everything from dystopian futures to twisted AI and, most importantly, surreal sci-fi concepts. For those who enjoy bold experimentation, it is a must-watch.

Also making the headlines this week is Tom Hardy starring in Havoc, a long-awaited action drama. Watch a bruised detective navigating the criminal underworld; this show should be at the top of your watchlist.

However, there is so much more than just edge and action. If you are someone who likes watching shows set in a softer tone, Forever, based on Judy Blume’s best-selling novel, is something to look forward to. A coming-of-age show, exploring love, heartbreak and growing up in a way that feels timeless. On the international front, Dutch comedy Football Parents is a light-hearted show focused on competitive families and sports chaos.

Documentary lovers have nothing to worry about either, as their favourite platform has got an ultimate piece of content lined up for them. Netflix is dropping the highly anticipated American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden this week, unpacking the years-long global search of one of the most wanted men on earth, which ultimately led to his death.

On the movie front, the variety is equally exciting. Looking for something connecting to modern dating and love, Netflix has two films for you in the box: Heart Eyes and One of Them Days. While La Dolce Villa will take you to a warm Italian escape, Con Mum has a strange real-life twist waiting for you.
