Every James Wan film streaming on Netflix

James Wan is a force to be reckoned with in the modern horror scene. Having helmed The Conjuring universe with eight films, he was recently in news due to his latest Netflix show, Archive 81 that terrified viewers with the elements of cult practices and claustrophobic horror.

Having led legions of other filmmakers in this franchise, Wan has had an indelible impact on popular culture. Having explored various genres and subgenres of horror, he has managed to create a sinister and eerie franchise that is the second highest-grossing horror franchise in the history of cinema, closely following Godzilla

Wan came to prominence with his 2004 film Saw following which he started making interesting and ominous films like Insidious, The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2 etc.

Starring Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as the infamous demonologist couple, Lorraine and Ed Warren, the first film of the universe, The Conjuring sees the couple helping a family, haunted by a witch inhabiting their new, dilapidated house.

Gradually, the universe moves into the story of The Amityville Horror, showing Lorraine’s gift of being to sense the supernatural and over the course of the trilogy, explores the various ghost hunting misadventures of the Warrens. Insidious is a far more horrifying film that involves elements of sleepwalking, astral projection and more.

The 2018 superhero film, Aquaman is a part of the DCEU (DC Extended Universe) and stars Jason Momoa as the merman superhero. While exploring the various qualities of the hero, despite the film being a flop, the film is coming back for a sequel titled Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom in December 2022.
