Episode titles revealed for 'Bridgerton' season three

To heighten excitement for the first part of season three of Bridgerton, which arrives on Netflix in May, the streamer and executive producer Shonda Rhimes hosted a fan event at Claridge’s in London last week. During the panel, exclusive information was revealed to fans about what’s in store.

The panel included Shonda Rhimes herself, as well as the showrunner of the third season, Jess Brownell, the author of the Bridgerton novels, Julia Quinn, and a collection of cast members such as Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, Claudia Jessie, Luke Thompson, and Martins Imhangbe.

Information unveiled across the day included exclusive photographs, confirmation of other book-to-episode adaptations, a sneak peek at the season’s premiere, and even a wedding announcement by fans.

At the event’s start, Rhimes and Brownell confirmed that one of the most famous moments from the novel Romancing Mr. Bridgerton, where Penelope wraps Colin Bridgerton’s hand after he injures it, will be featured. Brownell then revealed the episode titles, which point to the arc of the overall season.

They are: “Out of the Shadows”, “How Bright the Moon”, “Forces of Nature”, “Old Friends”, “Tick Tock”, “Romancing Mister Bridgerton”, “Joining of Hands” and “Into the Light”.

“Usually we’re meeting a new person who’s falling in love with one of our regulars,” Shonda Rhimes said after being asked what thrills her the most this time. “But this time, we know the people who are falling in love. We’re already rooting for them because we already know them, and I’m excited for that.”

“Colin and Penelope are underdogs in many ways…we get to see these characters step into their power this year, which I think will make a lot of people who have ever had an unrequited crush or felt like an underdog before feel very seen,” Jess Brownell added.
