Does 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' see the return of a beloved Marvel Netflix superhero?

The first teaser trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home features the comeback of various iconic villains that made life difficult for our friendly neighbourhood hero Spiderman. Eagle-eyed fans, however, are going crazy over a glimpse at the film featuring the Marvel Netflix superhero Matt Murdock aka Daredevil.

On Twitter, fans have been posting screenshots and analysing the placement of arms and hands from the trailer that belongs to Charlie Cox, according to them.

Cox is known for having played the titular Daredevil for three seasons on Netflix and Marvel’s Daredevil. Murdock is a New York City lawyer by the day and a vigilante who brings justice by apprehending criminals by night. If the theory is proved right, it would mean that Murdock, AKA Daredevil, would appear in the sequel.

The trailer shows Tom Holland as Peter Parker handcuffed in police custody, accused of the murder of Mysterio, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, following the end of 2019 flick Spider-Man: Far From Home

According to fan theories, Daredevil might serve as Parker’s lawyer and help bail him out. They are, after all, almost neighbours, with Peter residing in Queens and Murdock in Hell’s Kitchen. It will be an intriguing cameo indeed for Daredevil.

Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, had hinted in February 2021 that characters like Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and more from the popular Netflix shows could “perhaps someday” enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Will Daredevil be the first man to do so, as Marvel has now acquired the rights for the Netflix show?

We need to wait patiently for the film to stream on theatres from December 17, 2021, to find out all the answers to these raging questions.
