‘Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine’: What to know about the ‘Money Heist’ spin-off series?

Created by Money Heist’s Álex Pina and his Sky Rojo collaborator Esther Martínez Lobato, the upcoming spin-off series follows the character of Berlin, portrayed by Pedro Alonso, way before he takes the Royal Mint of Spain hostage.
The series follows 2023’s Berlin and shifts its setting from Paris to Spain. Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine features several fan-favourite characters alongside new faces. As Pine tells Netflix, “It’s a trip through the golden age of the character, when he robbed around Europe, crazy in love.”

In Money Heist, a group of strangers come together to pull off a seemingly impossible heist: robbing the Royal Mint of Spain, thanks to a cunning plan schemed by none other than The Professor and executed by Berlin. That leads viewers to the limited series, Berlin, which chronicles the character’s life in an earlier period.
According to Berlin, only two things in the entire world can turn his day from the worst to the best: “love and a million-dollar payday.” Consequently, in Berlin, he’s seen getting his ducks in a row for a massive robbery which requires stealing $44million worth of jewels. So, Berlin gathers his gang in Paris for one of the most ambitious schemes ever to steal 63 royal jewels from 34 cities within one afternoon.

Pedro Alonso reprises his role in Berlin and the Lady with an Armine on Netflix alongside MichelleJenner as Keila, Tristán Ulloa as Damián, Vargas as Cameron, Peña Fernández as Roi, and Joel Sánchez as Bruce.
