After a scene from the Netflix drama Sex/Life went viral, actor Adam Demos has spoken out about the actual size of his appendage. The scene features a graphic full frontal visual of Demos in the shower, which has caused fans to question whether it is real or fake.
When asked about the scene, Demos mentioned that the whole scene was done using prosthetics, telling The Daily Telegraph, “Everyone now knows it’s a prosthetic. I think that was part of the intrigue”. Demos went on to say that he didn’t realise that the scene would become widespread when he was filming it.
In the series, Demos plays Brad Simon plans to get back together with Sarah Shahi’s Billi Mann Connelly. Despite Demos’s insistence on prosthetics, fans were thinking otherwise, with one viewer telling Australian radio host Em Rusciano, “I grew up in the same town as Adam Demos (a year below me at school), and I can guarantee you there were no special effects”.
Even with the intrigue of the Internet, Demos went on to say that he found the hype a bit embarrassing, saying, “It was all this good-humoured speculation, and you just have to have a laugh. My mates have ammunition on me forever with that scene”.
