Will Superman & Lois stream on Netflix?

Created by Greg Berlanti and Todd Helbing, The CW show Superman & Lois focuses on the titular couple. As a superhero with the weight of the world on his shoulders, Superman and his wife, Lois Lane, a famous journalist, grapple with the struggles and complexities that arise from being the busiest parents with unimaginable responsibility.

Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch are cast in lead roles, and the pair share incredible chemistry. Additionally, the premise is likeable with dazzling cinematography. While fans enjoyed the show, they sincerely prayed it keeps up the tempo and does not lose direction midway like some other The CW shows (Supergirl, we are looking at you!)

While fans gush over this refreshing take on Superman, there have been rumours about the show coming to Netflix. With that in mind, let’s dive right in and debunk them one by one.

Will Superman & Lois be on Netflix?

Will Superman & Lois be on Netflix US?

Netflix has not released any official statement regarding acquiring the rights to the show. It is most likely that the show will find its permanent haven on HBO Max.

Sadly, Netflix US will most likely not gain streaming rights due to Warner’s licensing favouritism towards HBO Max. However, a few other DC shows will appear on the service, such as The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, plus the final seasons of Black Lightning and Supergirl, which gives a shot of hope

Will Superman & Lois be on Netflix globally?

While some of The CW’s DC shows stream globally on Netflix, none are recent titles. Amazon Prime gained rights to Stargirl, while Batwoman is available only in the United States. Black Lightning, however, is marketed as a Netflix original series across the world. Yet, it remains unknown whether Superman & Lois will be available worldwide on the platform, but one can only hope.
