There is back luck, and then there is whatever is going on with Joanne and Noah because just when you start to believe that they’ve finally got their act together, someone in that family goes and throws a massive spanner in the works, and after that everything is absolutely mental. Season three of Nobody Wants This ended with them getting married behind Bina’s back.

The woman who was totally against them dating at first is completely aware that they’re now married, and that’s a whole different kettle of fish. You wouldn’t fancy being in Noah’s shoes when that little bombshell drops.

So, season three rocked up on Netflix on October 22nd, and would you believe it, Kristen Bell and Adam Brody’s characters have actually gone and tied the knot, which is a bigger deal than you think given they almost broke up in the first two seasons.

However, season three took a whole new turn with Joanne now having converted to Judaism and Noah still being completely head over heels for her. Both of them clearly had had enough of their families turning every little thing into a big mess; they sneaked off to a Malibu beach to get married without all the fuss, which, if you ask us, is a pretty decent way of doing things.

There’s only one slight problem, and it’s that nobody’s got a bloody clue they’ve done it! Bina’s been sticking her oar into their wedding plans, acting like she’s running the whole show, and now her own son has gone and got hitched without so much as a phone call to let her know, so you can just imagine the absolute scenes when she finds out.

And don’t even get us started on Morgan and Sasha, because those two have managed to make such a messy situation out of their already messed-up situation. They’ve finally ended up sleeping together, which was bound to happen sooner or later, but then Sasha’s only gone and landed himself back in bed with Esther as well, even though they’re separated, and now the bloke’s got himself caught in a proper pickle, because Morgan’s clearly starting to catch feelings while Esther’s still very much in the picture. Now this feels like something nobody would want.

The thing is, there’s still loads of mileage left in this show, especially now Joanne and Noah are officially husband and wife, because watching these two try to navigate married life while their families keep poking their noses into absolutely everything sounds like a right laugh, and let’s face it, knowing Bina, she’ll probably have a meltdown about the secret wedding.

Now, Netflix still hasn’t officially given Nobody Wants This the green light for season four, which is a bit rubbish because Joanne and Noah’s story still has a lot of mileage. But there’s no need to get nervous because Netflix announced both of the show’s previous renewals within about a fortnight of their premieres, so there’s still every chance we’ll hear something before too long, and until then, there’s no point getting our knickers in a twist over it.

If Netflix does decide to crack on with another season, autumn 2027 sounds like a sensible shout for when we might get it, although that’s just an educated guess at this point and nothing’s been set in stone. Let’s keep our fingers crossed till then, Shalom!
