Netflix is busy fanning the flames of a high-profile series adaptation of Julia May Jonas’s best-selling novel Vladimir, coming up this March. So, if you’re a fan, you simply cannot be anywhere else.
Conceived as an eight-episode limited series, the upcoming comedy drama follows an unnamed protagonist of mid-age who’s a writer and professor by profession and also a wife and mom.

What is the plot?
Vladimir is an upcoming adaptation that tells the story of an unnamed middle-aged protagonist who is a writer, professor, wife, and mother. But just as her life comes crumbling down, she begins to take an interest in her charming new colleague, the eponymous Vladimir, at the liberal arts college where she has worked for decades.
Determined to turn her fascinations into reality, the forthcoming comedy series is packed with “sexy secrets, dark humour, and complex characters.”
Who is in the cast and crew?
In addition to Rachel Weisz starring in the series adaptation, Netflix has cast Leo Woodall, John Slattery, Jessica Henwick, Ellen Robertson, Kayli Carter, Miriam Silverman, Mallori Johnson, Matt Walsh, Tattiawna Jones, and Louise Lambert.
The Emmy-winning duo Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini have been roped in to direct two episodes. Springer Berman, Pulcini, and Weisz also executive produce Vladimir. Sharon Horgan, Stacy Greenberg, and Kira Carstensen executive produce on behalf of Merman, while Jason Winer and Jon Radler serve as executive producers for Small Dog Picture Company.
Is there a trailer available?
As of now, Netflix has yet to drop a trailer for Vladimir. However, considering its March release, it won’t be long before fans get their first glimpse.
