Why you should be excited about ‘The Four Seasons’ season two

In the wake of the changing seasons, everyone is probably busy wondering when they can possibly take their next vacation. And by the looks of it, they won’t have to wait too long as The Four Seasons is set to return this May with its follow-up season on Netflix.

Created by Tina Fey, the Netflix series follows a group of lifelong friends, comprising three couples, who commit to taking four seasonal vacations together. But when one of the pairs falls out, the dynamic takes a downturn and uncomfortable confrontations organically surface as a force of habit.

Since debuting in 2025, The Four Seasons has taken viewers to quite a few spots around the world. But in the upcoming instalment, they’re packing their bags for a new slate of destinations.

So, in case that makes you curious, here’s an overview of everything you can expect from the second season of The Four Seasons.

What is the plot?

The second season of The Four Seasons picks up where the debut season left off, when Nick passes away in an unexpectedly tragic car crash, and his girlfriend, Ginny, informs Kate, Jack, Anne, Danny, and Claude that she’s expecting Nick’s child. While the year has already been tough with fallouts and unforeseen losses, now that they’re headed to their next destination to keep the vacationing tradition alive, expect a new face and a lot of changes and adjustments around the same.

“They have to learn to re-form as a group in a different configuration,” creator Tina Fey says to Tudum.

Who is in the cast and crew?

The returning cast members of The Four Seasons include Tina Fey as Kate, Will Forte as Jack, Colman Domingo as Danny, Marco Calavani as Claude, Kerry Kenney-Silver as Anne, and Erika Henningson as Ginny. And undoubtedly, joining the ensemble would be Ginny’s baby.

Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield return as showrunners, creators, and executive producers in the second season. David Miner, Eric Gurian, and Jeff Richmond also serve as executive producers, while Alan Alda and Marissa Brennan produce the show alongside Universal Television and Little Stranger.
