Directed by Tim Kirby, Mike Myers’ latest stint on Netflix saw him play the role of a TV journalist named Ken Scarborough who embarks on a mission to revive his career by joining a dangerous, elusive organisation.
Myers, a comedic legend, is at the centre of this series and plays several characters that pay tribute to his eclectic filmography, including Shrek, Austin Powers trilogy etc. He is joined by actors like Keegan-Michael Key, Lydia West, Ken Jeong etc.
Jeong expressed his excitement at the prospect of being a part of The Pentaverate. Calling the show a “career highlight”, he said, “[That is] because Mike Myers is not only a friend now, but he is really one of my comedy inspirations.”
