Who is in the cast of ‘Wednesday’ season two?
Summers have always been about school breaks and slow mornings. But Netflix is going back to school this summer with its “part-time detective, part-time mystery author, and full-time outcast,” Wednesday Addams. Having pledged twice the horror and twice the terror in Wednesday season two, Netflix has summoned actors who not only love the dark but live it. So, in case you’re oblivious about who else is cranking up the horror alongside Jenna Ortega in Nevermore, stay seated, we have the answers.
By now, fans already know that Wednesday is coming back for more with Ortega. And if you still haven’t mastered how not to blink, consider this your last woeful reminder. With Ortega set to produce this time, fans can expect Netflix to focus more on her friendship with Enid Sinclair. But Emma Myers is not the only series regular who’s returning to Wednesday. Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Dorobantu, Joy Sunday, and Hunter Doohan are returning alongside the Hollywood star.
The Addams Family members will have a far more profound presence in the second season. So, if you were all about Wednesday’s out-of-syllabus hijinks, save some room for the matriarch Morticia Addams, father Gomez Addams, and the bite-sized Wednesday duplicate, Pugsley Addams. This season onwards, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez and Luyanda Unati-Lewis Nyawo will become series regulars.
Besides them, Jamie McShane and Fred Armisen return in guest-starring roles. While that wraps up the list of returning characters, all eyes are on the extended Addams family in Wednesday season two. Netflix has every plan to ensure fans go gaga this time with Mother Monster, Lady Gaga, joining Wednesday in the second part of season two as Rosaline Rotwood.
And teaming up with series regulars this time are Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah B Taylor. For those wondering, what about the guest list, Wednesday has roped in Christopher Lloyd, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Joanna Lumley, and Joonas Suotamo for season two.
Buscemi joins Wednesday as the new headmaster, Principal Barry Dort, Newton as Dr Rachel Fairburn and Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump. Suotamo will play Lurch, Taylor will portray Bruno, and Templeton will play Agnes Demille. Meanwhile, Piper as Isadora Capri, Lloyd as Professor Orloff, Nyawo as Sheriff Ritchie Santiago, Painter as Slurp, and Matarazzo as Judi round out the new cast.
Speaking of the expansion in Wednesday’s universe, Miles Millar and Alfred Gough told Tudum last year, “Our goal this season was to discover some fresh faces as well as invite some acting legends we’ve always admired to join Jenna and the gang at Nevermore.”
While only time will reveal what these new faces have in store for Wednesday season two, thankfully, the day is not far down the line. Season two, part one, will premiere on August 6th, followed by part two on September 3rd, 2025.
