When is the final ‘Stranger Things’ trailer scheduled to drop?
With each passing minute, we’re inching closer to the Stranger Things series finale, which is scheduled to drop on Netflix on New Year’s Eve. As for those curious about how far along the final trailer is, well, it looks like we’ve finally got some ETA on it.
Series star Jamie Campbell Bower, who portrays the big bad Vecna in the hit Netflix show, recently appeared at a Las Vegas drone show, surprising the fans and leaving them jaw-dropped.
Bower also shared a reel of the drone show on his Instagram story, first shared by strangerthingstv, revealing that the final Stranger Things trailer will drop today, December 30th.
The drone show already featured various iconic Stranger Things visuals, including those of the Demogorgon, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, and Eddie Munson’s Hellfire Club logo, among many others. Moreover, the drone show also included a floating head of Vecna in the sky alongside an audio playing in the background, which says, “It will all be over soon.”
While that’s something the audience has heard Vecna saying out loud to his victims time and again, the drone show also featured several messages in the sky, which ultimately culminated in one last message, “ONE LAST TRAILER DEC 30.” The reel concludes with Bower saying, “I’m telling you this. Vecna’s not done yet.”
The announcement for the series finale trailer comes hot on the heels of the second volume release of Stranger Things season five on Christmas Day, finally unpacking the mysteries surrounding the Upside Down after all this time. Although the volume was met with mixed reviews, especially when compared to the buzz that followed the first volume, Bower looked unwavering as he announced, while seeming completely mesmerised by the drone show.
Previously, the Duffer brothers announced an updated runtime of the Stranger Things finale, which is supposed to clock in at two hours and eight minutes. For those still unaware, the final episode will drop on Netflix at 20:00 ET/17:00 PT.
In addition to its grand arrival on Netflix, the finale is scheduled to have a limited theatrical release. So, in case you want to experience the Upside Down on the big screen, the finale is coming to over 500 theatres near you in the UK and the US.
While the Stranger Things finale is expected to put an end to all the mysteries finally, once the trailer drops, fans might find some hints to what more they can expect from its last lap. So, if you still haven’t, buckle up your seatbelts already.
