Watch new trailer for Netflix's 'Money Heist' season 5

After months of fan theories, conspiracies and deliberation, Netflix has finally released the trailer for Money Heist season five. The first part of the fifth season will stream on Netflix on September 3, 2021, while the second and final volume of the fifth season shall arrive on December 3, 2021.

With just about a month until the first volume lands on the platform, we can no longer keep calm. Take a look at the brand new trailer for Money Heist season 5 below.

Intense, nerve-wracking and gloomy, Money Heist seems to have gone all guns blazing for its final season. The trailer shows the gang trapped in the Bank of Spain, “about to be killed and having lost a best friend”.

Within the trailer, and following Tokyo’s revelation, the Professor informs the gang that the stormwater tanks have been discovered. Colonel Tamayo decides to send the military to storm the Bank of Spain and says that they “will come out victorious or they will come out dead”.

There is a sense of hopelessness and despair as the Professor is held captive, and the gang are left with “no father, no plan, no hope”. Although their darkest fears descend on them, they still have the last streak of courage in them and the desire to make sure that their “last dance” is “a good one”. Berlin returns, as promised, in a series of flashbacks as he talks about “authentic liberation”.

Starring Alvaro Morte, Ursula Corbero, Pedro Alonso, Itziar Ituno, Jaime Lorrente, Miguel Herran, Esther Acebo, Enrique Arce, Darko Peric, Rodrigo de la Serna and more, the first part of the season finale drops in about a month!

With the greatest heist in history coming to an end, much to the chagrin of fans and heist aficionados who were absolutely in love with the series, season five will surely be impactful, unnerving and heart-wrenching.

With the Professor bound in chains, held captive by Sierra, and the gang under heavy attack with no concrete plan of action, we cannot wait to see what surprises the season has in store for us.
