Watch Netflix’s trailer for Sandra Bullock film 'The Unforgivable'

Following massive success in her Netflix collaboration on Bird Box, Award-winning actress Sandra Bullock is back for another upcoming Netflix Original project The Unforgivable, the trailer for which was released recently.

The film will deal with Bullock as a protagonist who had committed a violent crime and had served prison time for nearly two decades. This tainted memory refuses to leave her and follows her everywhere in her quest to find the younger sister she had tried to allegedly protect by committing the crime. However, people are not very forgiving and view her in a negative light.

Sandra Bullock is coming back to the screen nearly three years after her 2018 film Birdbox streamed on Netflix to huge success.

Based on a 2009 British limited series Unforgiven, written by Sally Wainwright, the film will be helmed by German filmmaker Nora Fingscheidt, best known for the 2019 film System Crasher

Besides Bullock, the film also stars Jon Bernthal, Vincent D’Onofrio, Linda Emond, Richard Thomas, Viola Davis, Will Pullen, Rob Morgan, Aisling Franciosi, Emma Nelson and Thomas Guiry.

It is based on a screenplay by Courtenay Miles, Hillary Seitz and Peter Craig. Craig is well known for The Batman and Top Gun: Maverick, Miles has worked on Mindhunter and Seitz is popular for having helmed Insomnia

The Unforgivable is set to arrive on Netflix on 10th December a few weeks after its limited theatrical release on November 24.
