Watch a hilarious 'Stranger Things' edit where Dustin is British

As one of Netflix’s first creative properties, Stranger Things continues to prove to be their most glittering jewel, with the fourth series breaking streaming records once again.

With a powerful following across the world, fans of the show find great joy in toying with the show, creating memes, fan theories and merchandise to show their passion. One such meme, which shows Gaten Matarazzo’s Dustin as a British alter-ego, has found its way online and onto Netflix’s official YouTube channel to the delight of Stranger Things lovers.

For the record, we would love to see this specific version of Dustin brought to life for the show, with his PG-rated curse words being a hilarious addition to the eccentric show.

Arguably the streaming service’s flagship show, Stranger Things, inspired by the sci-fi adventures of 1980s filmmaking in films such as The Goonies, Halloween and Stephen King’s It, grows stronger and stronger with the release of every new season. As the lead cast of actors, including Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Noah Schnapp have matured, so too have the themes of the show.

The latest series takes things to truly dark territory, with the show’s inspirations veering away from child-friendly adventures to more cosmic sci-fi influences.
