Netflix has released the very first teaser trailer for That ’90s Show, the shell suit sequel to the beloved comedy series That ’70s Show, first released in 1998.

With Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp reprising their roles as Red and Kitty Forman, the new series also sees the new arrival of Callie Haverda as Eric and Donna’s teen daughter, Leia Forman. In addition, other new cast members include Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan and Reyn Doi.

The new show comes from the creators of the original ‘90s series, Bonnie and Terry Turner, with 10 episodes being ordered by Netflix for the spin-off series.

While the series will be a standalone venture, it will also be expected to feature cameos from the original series, with the likes of Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon, and Wilmer Valderrama all in the running to return.

Aside from Kunis, who went on to find success working alongside Seth MacFarlane on the celebrated Family Guy series, it is her husband, Ashton Kutcher, who has gone on to have the best career following the show.

After starring in the iconic ‘90s show, Kutcher went on to become an influential comedy figure of the early 2000s, featuring in Dude, Where’s My Car? In 2000, The Butterfly Effect in 2004 and various romantic comedies throughout the first decade of the new millennium.

That ’90s Show will be available for streaming on January 19th, 2023.
