Watch the trailer for Jonah Hill’s ‘Stutz’

With the stresses of daily life mounting, it is now more important than ever that we are open and empathetic with our mental health. This is the premise of Jonah Hill’s recent team-up with Netflix for a progressive documentary on therapy.

As the synopsis states: “Follow Hill and his therapist as he has candid discussions of mental health and the progressively worsening anxiety attacks related to movie promotion that have turned his dream job into a nightmare.”

Much of the documentary simply sees Hill candidly engage in therapy with Phil Stutz. Stutz is one of the world’s leading psychiatrists. With over 40 years of experience, his outlook has turned towards illuminating the world of therapy to sceptics.

Directed by Hill, the documentary simply sees him set up a camera and record his discussions with Stutz. From candid conversations to rather more unconventional techniques, the documentary aims to offer up an insight into therapy.

The pair have also become friends over the course of their sessions, so perhaps surprisingly, there is a lot of comic banter between the pair bringing a dose of light-hearted humour to the feature.

You can catch the 90-minute documentary on Netflix now and check out the trailer below.
