People are always looking for great new series to watch on Netflix, but given the massive array of content available on the site, it can often be difficult to find them. Well, it’s just been made a lot easier, as three new shows have all received 100% accreditation from critics. 

Many shows and movies can only dream of getting a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Productions everywhere are keen on obtaining the score, as critics across the world are responsible for contributing to it. Three new Netflix shows have managed to gain the accolade, promising to be must-watches for any entertainment fans who are looking for something to watch this weekend.

The first is the brand new series Supacell. Courtesy of Rapman, the brains behind the 2019 film Blue Story, Supacell brings the superhero concept to South London as a number of unlikely people are given powers and decide to use them to help others. There are several familiar faces in the cast as Doctor Who’s Tosin Cole steps into a new exciting role, as well as Adelayo Adedayo.

In addition to getting the thumbs up from critics, Supacell has also found a fan in the rapper Jay-Z, who credited the storytelling of the new series. “I saw him in LA a couple of months back, and he was just telling me, ‘This storytelling is crazy, the way you intertwine the characters’,” said Rapman, recalling the mogul’s comments, “He was proper bigging it up so it was just nice to see the support.”

Savage Beauty has also received a rating of 100%. This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, as the series was a hit when it initially dropped on Netflix in 2022, so it’s only fair that the second series continues on this positive trajectory. The South African drama centres around a woman who embeds herself into a powerful family in charge of the global beauty empire.

Finally, the new reality TV series The Mole has also been highly credited. This is a reboot of a show that originally aired between 2001 and 2008. It sees 12 different players tackle a string of challenges to add money to a prize pot; however, not all of them can be trusted. If you’re a fan of The Traitors, then this is a reality series for you.
