This new Netflix Original has dethroned ‘Inventing Anna’

After the riveting Netflix docuseries, Inventing Anna, took the world by a storm and reigned supreme on the Netflix charts, a new Netflix Original has taken over its spot and dethroned it.

Tyler Perry’s A Madea Homecoming debuted on Netflix on Friday, February 25th, 2022, and has taken the number one spot ever since.

In addition to being a part of the well-known Madea canon, the film has already garnered a 76% score on the audience section of Rotten Tomatoes as people seem to be enjoying the hilarious escapades of Madea.

According to the official synopsis of the film, “Madea’s back halleluja. And she’s not putting up with any nonsense as family drama erupts at her great-grandson’s college graduation celebration.”

Inventing Anna is now on the number three spot, right behind Love Is Blind. 2022 has been a brilliant start for Julia Garner. She performed as the notorious SoHo scammer and the local criminal, Ruth Langmore in Ozark, starring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney. After premiering in January, the first part of Ozark’s final season dominated Netflix charts for quite some time.

Created by Jeb Stuart and executive produced by Michael Hirst, Vikings: Valhalla debuted at number four on Friday. Read Best of Netflix’s review of the show here
