This Kevin James sports comedy is dominating Netflix charts

If you do not know who Kevin James is, you’re probably living under a rock. This American actor and screenwriter is well known for his comic timing and is an Emmy Award nominee for his role in the 1998 sitcom The King of Queens

With films like Hitch, Grown Ups, Hotel Transylvania, Zookeeper and more to his name, James has recently, like his buddy Adam Sandler, tasted success on Netflix with the release of his film Home Team that has begun dominating Netflix charts.

Directed by Charles and Daniel Kinnane and produced by James and Sandler, among other well-known producers, this sports comedy film stars the likes of Taylor Lautner, Rob Schneider, Jackie Sandler and others, besides James.

James appears as Sean Peyton, the coach for New Orleans Saints coach who is suspended due to his involvement in the infamous Bountygate scandal. Dejected, he returns to his hometown and reconnects with his son, Connor by coaching the middle school football team.

A worthwhile watch for football fans who enjoy a dash of Kevin James comedy, the narrative weaves a feel-good story of reconnecting with one’s child into a story of hardship and heartbreak.

Home Team is dominating charts, closely following new releases like The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, All Of Us Are Dead, Ozark, In From the Cold etc.

Watch Home Team on Netflix now.
