The year 2024 is set to bring the highly anticipated conclusion of The Umbrella Academy. Netflix announced in 2022 that season four would mark the final installment of our beloved time-traveling, dysfunctional superhero family.
Season three of Umbrella Academy left us with a plethora of unanswered questions. The Hargreeves siblings found themselves in a precarious situation with Allison embroiled in questionable actions to save her family, while Reginald Hargreeves appeared to be an even more formidable and enigmatic figure in the new timeline.
Meanwhile, the remaining siblings faced personal challenges, with Five feeling isolated and Luther nursing a broken heart. The status of their powers was also uncertain, and the mystery surrounding the new Ben kept fans eagerly speculating.
The good news is that we won’t have to wait much longer for answers. During Netflix’s Geeked Week in 2023, the cast of The Umbrella Academy offered a few revelatory teases about what we can expect in season four.
The returning cast members for season four include Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallager, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore. This means we’ll see Viktor, Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Five, the mysterious new Ben, Lila, and Reginald Hargreeves back in action.
In addition to our familiar faces, Nick Offerman, David Cross, and Megan Mullally are set to make appearances. Steve Blackman will also continue his role as the showrunner and executive producer, ensuring the series maintains its signature style and storytelling.
Season three closely followed the comic books, but season four is expected to take creative liberties.
