The Thai film that is Netflix's most-watched of the week

You might think a Hollywood production like Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery or Murder Mystery 2 might be Netflix’s most-watched movie right now, but you’d be wrong.

Number one on the streaming service’s global top ten is the Sitisiri Mongkolsiri movie Hunger, which has tallied up 43,580,000 hours of viewing time. The movie, which stars the likes of Nopachai Chaiyanam, Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying, Gunn Svasti Na Ayudhya and Kenneth Won, tells the story of a woman running her family’s noodle restaurant who receives an offer to join a famous restaurant.

The unexpectedly popular thriller is causing a storm across the world, with viewers buying into the drama of the central family dynamic and the gripping lead characters.

Elsewhere in the top ten, the Oscar-winning WWII movie All Quiet on the Western Front has retained a spot for the 21st week in a row, clocking in 1.6 million hours of viewing time over the past seven days. Directed by Edward Berger and adapted from the influential novel of the same name by Erich Maria Remarque, the movie was beloved by fans and critics alike.
