The series and films coming to Netflix this week

As Netflix bolsters its selection once more, we’re looking at the new series and films coming to the streaming platform this week.

As of April 6th, Netflix will be rolling out a string of new content. One of the most exciting of which is Beef. The new Netflix series tells the tale of two people who let a road rage incident and the drive for revenge slowly consume their existence.

The highly anticipated new series is helmed by Lee Sung Jin who is known and revered for his previous work on Silicon Valley. Starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, the 11-elipsode is a dark comedy with a keen psychological edge.

Another expected hit is the new Lewis Capaldi music documentary titled, Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now. The comic Scottish singer is looking to lift the lid on the intimate side of his life as it chronicles his rise from a viral teen to a Grammy-nominated artist.

Alongside these original efforts, Netflix will also be welcoming a string of movies such as Hunger. As is often the case, the movie has been acquired as part of a publicity drive for the director Steve McQueen, who is rolling out his Grenfell art exhibition later this month.

Another hard-hitting title arriving on the platform is the final instalment of the Surviving R. Kelly documentary trilogy. The show takes an in-depth look at the legacy of the case against the disgraced R&B performer.
