Adapted from writer Toy and illustrator Jeong Jong-taek’s webtoon Manager Kim, the spy K-drama follows an ordinary bank manager named Mr Kim, who has been giving his all to singlehandedly raise his rebellious teenage daughter, Kim Min-ji, especially following his wife’s tragic demise years ago.

Although Mr Kim prefers to shrug off unnecessary confrontations as a mild-mannered person who doesn’t like to invite trouble, his daughter is somewhat opposite. So, naturally, when Mr Kim chooses to apologise to the principal on her behalf after his daughter overpowers three bullies, she leaves the room without conforming to his decision. But when she doesn’t return home by morning, a trail of evidence convinces Mr Kim that his daughter has been abducted.

Forced to assume the identity he seemed to have long buried, former Agent Kim springs into action to rescue his daughter, driving the central plot of Agent Kim Reactivated.
