What did Pam whisper to Michael in 'The Office'?

The Office (US) has accumulated a loyal fanbase over the years. Starring Steve Carell, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Rainn Wilson, Angela Kinsey and others, this ultimate fan-favourite sitcom is now streaming on Netflix. Recently, Fischer revealed a huge secret from the show that gives the fans an insight into a crucial airport scene.

Shot in a mockumentary form, the sitcom is based in the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company in Scranton, Pennsylvania and delves into the lives of the hilariously dysfunctional characters and their daily lives in the office.

Full of gags and laughter with a brilliant ensemble, the US version is an adaptation of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s British version. However, developed by Greg Daniels, it is arguably more popular.

Eight years since the Emmy, Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe-winning show ended, fans still love revisiting the amusing premise for unbridled fun and amusement. Recently, during an Instagram live, Fischer, who was seen as Pam Beesly, was asked a crucial question about a heartwarming season seven episode titled “Goodbye, Michael?”

The episode bids a farewell to Steve Carell who is able to bid goodbye to all except Pam who is busy with an errand. Pam is under the impression that Michael will not be leaving until later the next day.

However, Jim -played by Krasinski– finds out about Michael’s departure to Colorado, he rushes to bring Pam to the airport to help the duo say adieu to each other. While nobody knew what Pam and Michael said to each other while they hugged and exchanged a few indecipherable words, Fischer has finally revealed what was said during that famous exchange.

Fischer said, “That was me talking to Steve. I told him all the ways I was going to miss him when he left our show. Those were real tears and a real goodbye.”

She said, “that was a really emotional scene.”
