Arriving on July 10th, the eco-horror thriller, directed by Richard Switzer, revolves around a newlywed’s romantic getaway that devolves into a chilling nightmare when they get caught up in a scarring murder investigation and a sinister revenge plot against their own marriage.

The Lifetime thriller titled The Paradise Murders follows Emma and Jake, who arrive at a luxury beach resort called the Crescendo for their romantic honeymoon, quickly befriending another couple, Sarah and Tom. But the pair’s peaceful getaway is even more rapidly upended when Sarah is murdered shortly after Emma receives a mysterious warning.

Although local authorities dismiss the death as accidental, it is not enough to convince Emma, who launches her own investigation, uncovering a dangerous web of resort secrets, revenge plots, con artists, conspiracy, and blackmail. With a runtime of approximately 90 minutes, it fits the bill of a popcorn movie, meaning you don’t even need an entire weekend to get your fair share of thrills.
