‘The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey’ explores a terrifying unsolved murder in America
Although the summer heat is still scorching straight on our heads, Netflix is doing everything in its capacity to stay a few steps ahead. So, while viewers are busy sorting their summer theatrics, the streaming giant is fanning the flames of a highly anticipated limited series this winter titled The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey.
The Netflix series takes viewers back to Christmas night in 1966, when the Ramsey household experienced a devastating tragedy.
The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey recounts how the cold-blooded murder of the six-year-old shook and divided the nation. Ramsey was killed in the basement of the family home in Boulder, Colorado. Despite the extreme media attention, over 21,016 tips, letters, and emails, the perpetrator has still not been identified or found three decades later.
As one of the most notorious unsolved murder cases in American history, the series examines the horrifying personal and public reckoning that followed. The forthcoming limited series is constructed from multiple perspectives, shedding light on the conjectures and the burden of carrying an unresolved agony.
