Will there be a third season of 'The Lincoln Lawyer'?

The second season of Netflix’s TV show The Lincoln Lawyer has finally had its last dose of episodes released on the giant streaming service, bringing the telling of the novel The Fifth Witness by Michael Connelly to a close.

However, with the story now wrapped up, fans of the show are beginning to wonder whether they might be treated to a further offering of Manuel Garcia-Ruffo playing Mickey Haller in another case of genuine intensity.

The second season of The Lincoln Lawyer was announced just a month after its first arrived on Netflix, and as the days roll by since the end of the second season, questions surrounding a third season are beginning to grow in intensity.

As of yet, there has been no confirmation of a third season, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it will never arrive. It could still well be on the cards, especially if the second season continues to bring in high viewing figures.

If it does come, then it shouldn’t be too long for it to be released, especially considering the haste with which the second season was made available after the first. However, the current writers’ and actors’ strike may put a delay to proceedings if a third season is confirmed.

It seems like we might be looking at a prospective release date of mid-2024. It’s likely that Manuel Garcia-Rulfo would return as Mickey Halter if the show is renewed, as well as the likes of Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole and Angus Sampson.

For now, there’s no confirmation of season three of The Lincoln Lawyer, so fans will have to make do with the show’s first two seasons. Check out the trailer for season two below.
