The films leaving Netflix this week: April 2023

As Netflix continues to shake its schedule up, the month of April will see a host of notable movies leave the streaming site in the US, with the likes of Brokeback MountainThe Lord of the Rings trilogy, Top Gun, and Forrest Gump all departing.

The Netflix library is constantly changing, and every month, the streamer adds new movies and takes others away to keep viewers excited. Whilst this might cause some heartbreak, it’s a wise way of making more watch famous titles such as those above before they leave the site. Often, this high turnaround is also due to third-party licensing.

Today, we’re listing the movies that will be departing this week, from April 17th – 23rd, and luckily for many of us, the casualties are significantly lower than they were during the first and second weeks of the month. This week, only three titles are departing, with two documentaries and one feature-length comprising the list.
