The 10 most popular series on Netflix US this week: April 2026
Netflix viewers, you did it again. Once again, the Top 10 series chart of Netflix US is in almost perfect alignment with the global list, except for a few shows and ranking orders. How great does that feel, right? At least something is in order, but one thing that’s ruling both the charts is true crime, and there’s nothing surprising about that!
The winner of this week’s list, both globally and in the US, is Trust Me: The False Prophet. If you haven’t caught on to it yet, what are you doing with your Netflix subscription? The show tells you the very real story of a cult case, and the uncomfortable part of it is how believable everything sounds because those who are telling the story were part of that cult. And that’s exactly what makes a true crime story compelling when it comes out directly from the people involved. There, we gave you another reason to binge it.
Then the US is smitten with Big Mistakes, which, as the name suggests, is built on one decision going very wrong and then just keeps on going. We have two siblings played by Dan Levy and Taylor Ortega who get dragged into organised crime with just one wrong decision. Yes, yes, one decision and a straight entry to the crime world might sound a bit over the top, but that’s the biggest MVP of Big Mistakes. You’ll get it when you watch it.
After that, Netflix is taken over by Salish & Jordan Matter, the famous father-daughter duo who change the tone of the crime-obsessed list completely. These two bring in very much internet energy, and since they are being themselves, people are loving it. There is nothing you have to catch on to or stay committed to in the show, and hence, it’s working great for the attention-deficit audience.
An unexpected entry in the list is Temptation Island season two, which is basically built on the idea that if you put couples in the wrong situation for long enough, something will go wrong. And it does. Every single time.
Now, Raw: April 13, 2026, is consistently sitting in the number five position. This episode was all about setting the stage for WrestleMania, so you had Roman Reigns and CM Punk coming face to face, which carried most of the attention, while Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi added their own tension. There was a totally unexpected apology from CM Punk about the remarks he’s made in the past about Reigns’ father.
The rest of the list keeps that same variety going. American Godfathers: The Five Families is a show about mafia history and breaks down how those families built power over time, which always seems to find an audience. BEEF: Season 2 comes back with bigger ideas and a totally new setup, though not everyone seems convinced it hits the same level as before.
Ah, a new entry to this list is Trevor Noah: Joy in The Trenches, and the comedian is back with his hysterical satire and sharp observations to tickle your funny bones.
And then right at the end, you’ve got Danny Go! and Million Dollar Secret season two, which couldn’t be more different if they tried. One is built for younger viewers, and the other is a game of figuring out who is hiding a million dollars. Both shows are doing exactly what they need to, and that concludes the list.
