The 10 most popular series on Netflix this week: January 2026

The series rankings on Netflix this week are in favour of His and Hers, as it is holding that number one spot, and yes, it deserves it. If you have not already been pulled into that emotionally draining, gaslight-heavy relationship mess where every episode makes you switch sides and doubt your own judgment, what are you even doing?

Right after that, Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials is doing exactly what mystery fans wanted and more. And we all know that a classic Agatha Christie story is full of multiple suspects, and this time, it is giving mansion tension and silences that mean something. It is one of those shows where you think you are watching it for the murder, but actually stay because the characters are so weirdly fun to hate.

Trending in third is Skyscraper Live, and if you still do not know what this is, just know people are watching it out of sheer curiosity and then getting stuck because it is that mind-blowing. Watching Alex Honnold climb Taipei 101 was not on my 2026 watchlist.

Finding Her Edge is a figure skating show that does not care about being pretty. It throws you right into the cold, the pressure, the weird politics behind the glitter, and people are eating it up because it is so dramatic without being loud.

Then comes Stranger Things 5, still refusing to drop out of the top five because everyone is obsessing over what the ending means and whether their favourite character makes it out. You cannot escape the theories. They are in every comment section. They are on every fan edit.

Run Away is next, and it is one of the best thrillers Netflix has dropped in 2026. It is not trying to shock you. It just builds the dread until you are stuck.

There are also two brand new entries in the Top 10 list, at numbers seven and eight. At number seven, we have Sandokan, which didn’t make a whisper when it dropped, but now has people talking because it is full of that old-school storybook energy. Next, we have Free Bert, the clips of which are trending all over the internet. It’s about a father trying to fit into a posh area when his daughter goes to a private school. Sounds fun, right?

And Raw? This time, the routine favourite of the American audience has stepped up and gone international. To end the list, we have Stranger Things 4 because people are rewatching with a fresh eyes like they are detectives trying to catch something they missed the first time. Come on, let people have this one.
