The 10 most popular series on Netflix this week: January 2026
It’s the third week of 2026, and we thought the Stranger Things hangover would wear off, but no. Netflix viewers globally just can’t get enough. Season five dropped, destroyed us emotionally, and now every single season has launched itself back into the top 10 like a nostalgic missile.
Season one? It’s there. Season three? Absolutely there. Even season two, which y’all pretended to hate, is back.
But this week wasn’t just about Hawkins because we have got two limited series that are absolutely killing it on Netflix. Starting with HIS & HERS, which is everybody’s new obsession, followed by another limited series trending globally. These limited series have surely destroyed the weekend plans of many, replacing them with six hours of screaming at the screen. Why is everyone so good at limited series right now? Why are the vibes so elite? Well, it looks like we clearly are living in a golden age of one-season emotional torture chambers… might as well make the best of it.
The other limited series we were talking about is Run Away, which is running circles around us. Run Away is out here winning tears and trauma trophies, and we are the clowns rewatching it like it won’t hurt the same.
Somewhere in the middle of all this, Emily in Paris is over here like, “Bonjour, babes, I’m still trending.” Season five did numbers, and now it’s sitting in the middle of a murder, mystery, and mind games and, oh, all the Stranger Things seasons. The show that was supposed to be just comforting vibes and cute outfits has now… turned into something way more chaotic? Sure, there is growth in Emily’s career, and we love it, but all the man drama got a bit too much this season.
And then there is The Good Doctor, which is sitting like an outsider in this conversation. And no, the trending season is not the latest one but season one, which made its way in like it’s been quite familiar with the Netflix Top 10 list. Can you imagine? It is from 2017, but no, it’s not going anywhere. So you don’t have to worry about it leaving. Every few months, it just… reappears. You’d think people would’ve moved on, but nope, they keep showing.
Last but not least: Raw. The most January-coded drop ever. As usual, it has made the Top 10 list and is there at the bottom of the top 10, like it’s cooler than everyone else. You know Netflix always tosses in one wildcard to keep us guessing, and this one’s it.
