The 10 most popular series on Netflix this week: January 2026
You’d think we would be done screaming. But then Stranger Things 5 dropped, the internet exploded, and now Netflix, nay, the world basically looks like a Hawkins fan page. If you log in right now, there is only one thing: the Upside Down.
The final season may have aired, but fans? We are still in shock. Half of us are extremely satisfied, while the rest are still trying to find the answer in the subreddits. And this week’s Netflix Top 10 is pure proof that the obsession runs deep and will do for a while. Not only is Stranger Things 5 the number one show on the platform, but every single season of the series is charting. Again. Season one? Yep. Season two? In the mix. Seasons three and four? Still holding strong. People did and will rewatch all the seasons again just to tie all the clues together and find more.
But it’s not all Hawkins this week. Emily Cooper just brought back her Emily in Paris mess again with season five, and as usual, it is making fans scream, swoon, and scream again. She has got a ring now, which naturally pertains to more drama (when does it not?). And she is somehow still managing to style a bucket hat. Respect Emily.
Also climbing the charts? Run Away, the limited series that came out of nowhere, now has everyone discussing back and forth. No spoilers, but if you are into messy relationships and slowly built reveals, congratulations, you have met your match.
In the middle of all the drama and monsters, we are also seeing a wave of stand-up sneak back into the Top 10. Ricky Gervais is back with Mortality, which is as dark as it is hilarious, and Dave Chappelle’s The Unstoppable is holding its ground with the usual mic-drop energy. Apparently, we are all healing through jokes now. Fair.
But the real surprise this week? Man vs Baby. Yeah, you read that right. The Rowan Atkinson dad comedy has elbowed its way into the conversation, and people have been watching it since Christmas. It’s both sweet and unhinged and kind of perfect for background bingeing while you go crazy about Will Byers.
