The 10 most popular series on Netflix this week: December 2025

Let’s be real, people, Stranger Things is basically squatting on the Netflix Top 10 like it pays rent. Not just season five, which, duh, is number one, but literally everything else too. People are watching the new season, then rewatching season one, then skipping to season four, then suddenly remembering season three was underrated. It’s basically the whole catalogue.

And honestly, no one seems mad about it. The minute season five dropped, people who hadn’t opened Netflix in months went just to have a quick recap, and next thing you know, they’re six episodes deep, googling timelines, crying about Steve again. Isn’t it wild? Everyone is pretending it’s a casual rewatch. It is not.

Meanwhile, Emily in Paris entered the room and got the VIP seat without any effort, as she always does. She is still wearing heels on cobblestone and pitching marketing campaigns that would never work, but whatever, people are watching. She could be doing nothing, and people would still stream it.

Then, of course, there is Chappelle. Dropped a new special, and bam, back in the Top 10. Same story as always. People click, everyone’s got thoughts, half the timeline’s mad, and the other half’s quoting it. Whatever side you are on, you watched. So did everyone else.

Now the next one is surprising and genius. We are talking about Man Vs Baby, which was at the top last week and is now at number three on the list. Out of nowhere. A grown man trying to survive a baby. That’s the show. And it worked. How can it not? December brain and holiday fever are real. People will either put on The Crown or watch a baby in diapers. And they picked the nappies. Can’t blame them… It’s literally Mr Bean.

And then ironically, the next trending show is Sean Combs: The Reckoning? The nightmare of Man Vs Baby viewers. Luckily, Netflix didn’t need to get a marketing budget for this series because the internet had already created enough hype. The OTT knows exactly when to drop the messy stuff.

Oh, and not to forget, at number ten we have Fireplace for Your Home, just in time for the holidays.

Anyway. That’s your Netflix Top 10. It’s just Stranger Things eating the whole chart and Emily doing whatever she wants, all while the fireplace is setting the mood. Makes no sense. Makes perfect sense.
