The 10 most popular series on Netflix this week: December 2025

The festive glow is looking good on Netflix, and the most popular series chart this week? Even better!

With each passing day of December, Netflix viewers are clearly getting more and more caught under the holiday spell, as is evident from the fresh new chart-topper, Man vs Baby.

Co-created by Rowan Atkinson and William Davies, in which the former also stars, the comedy limited series reportedly amassed 19.1million views in the week dated December 8th to December 14th, becoming the number one show in 59 countries.

Moving on, there’s Sean Combs: The Reckoning in second place on the most popular series chart. The controversial four-part docu-series garnered 17.9million views this week and is currently the number one series in 13 countries, including the United States and Canada, among others.

Meanwhile, the Stranger Things fever clearly persists, with season five still going strong in the third place and the rest not far behind. Although it no longer leads the flock, with volume two up next, that shouldn’t be a worry.

Succeeding the blockbuster instalment on the charts, however, is the Gillian Anderson and Lena Headey co-led Western drama, The Abandons. The show has earned 7.6million views in its second week since release.

But coming back to the Upside Down frenzy, the Stranger Things craze becomes clear as daylight when you scroll just a little to witness the complete takeover: seasons three, four, one, and two dominating at the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth positions, respectively. Once again, half of the chart belongs to the Hawkins heroes.

While the Stranger Things streak shows undeniable persistence, another equally resolute series to retain momentum on the most popular series chart globally this week is the Matthew Rhys and Claire Danes-led thriller, The Beast in Me.

Lastly, rounding out the trends is Raw: 2025 – December 8, 2025, and with that, we come to a close of a punch-fest of a week.
