We do not know about you, but we are more than ready to place our bets on Stranger Things sitting on Netflix for the entire month of December and more. It makes sense too, as one of THE biggest shows is saying goodbye to the platform with its last season, and hence people are watching, nay, bingeing all of them in one go.

And it’s only funny because with just one volume of season five out, the show has already dominated the chart. Imagine when the second one and the highly anticipated finale episode come out? It feels like people planned their month around this premiere, and to be fair, the anticipation has been building for years.

What makes this week even funnier is the way every earlier season has marched straight back into the Top 10. Season one is trending again at number three in the list because everyone loves going back to where it all began. Seasons two, three and four are right behind, conquering their positions at numbers five, six and seven, mostly because fans want a full refresher before finishing the story. Season four is to be paid attention to especially, thanks to its massive moments that set up the final battle. Outside Hawkins, viewers are hooked on Sean Combs: The Reckoning. The series has sparked a wave of discussions and reactions across social platforms, pulling in people who usually skip documentaries altogether. It is clearly on everyone’s radar, which explains why it has climbed so high so quickly, standing tall at number two in the Netflix Top 10 list. The momentum around it is strong, and it has added a completely different texture to this week’s chart.

Then there is The Abandons, the western that entered the conversation and suddenly started climbing. It has this rough, lived-in atmosphere that people turn to when they want something grounded after watching high-stakes sci-fi worlds. It is not loud, yet it keeps attracting new viewers every day, which is exactly how shows end up sticking around on the list for weeks.

Fantasy fans are fully invested in The Rats: A Witcher Tale. Anything connected to the Witcher universe finds its audience instantly, and this release is no exception. It is pulling in long-time fans as well as casual viewers who enjoy a bit of dark fantasy during the winter months. Right next to it, The Beast in Me at number nine, which is drawing attention through its sharpness, and the fact that it is a limited series makes people finish in one sitting because it holds their curiosity from start to finish.

And since December refuses to be all heavy content, Matt Rife’s Unwrapped – A Christmas Crowd Work Special has brought a lighter mood to the mix. Holiday shows always climb during this time of year, and comedy specials get even more love because they fit that light mood viewers chase during the season.

So yes, this week’s Top 10 is the perfect mix of basically everything on Netflix. But if we are being real, Stranger Things is the centre of gravity holding everything together.
