Netflix is a genuinely weird place when it comes to its ranking lists because what do you mean a documentary as horrifying as Death of the Pastor’s Wife is hanging on in the same list as two children’s shows? A combination so ridiculous it almost becomes admirable!

Yes, Death of the Pastor’s Wife has finally reached the number one spot, and it was meant to be because when have Netflix viewers resisted a good true crime watch, especially one as dark as this? It looks at the life and 2024 death of Mica Miller, which was initially ruled a suicide, but also examines allegations of coercive control involving her estranged husband, pastor John-Paul ‘JP’ Miller.

Then there’s Beauty in Black season three, which would’ve definitely been on the top if not for this doc. This season, Kimmie finally has more power than she did at the beginning, although naturally that doesn’t make her life any easier. Her relationship with Mallory starts falling apart just as the Bellarie empire turns into a huge fight for control, and by the looks of the finale episode, you know the fourth season is going to be spicy.

And can we please discuss Outer Banks season five because the Pogue story is actually ending, and fans really showed up for it? It ranked at number one last week, and with plenty of viewers still catching up, its place in the top three makes perfect sense.

Then Salish & Jordan Matter season three and Danny Go! season two are sitting right beside each other on the chart, which is hilarious when you look at everything surrounding them, proving that family viewing still owns a large chunk of Netflix’s viewership.

Meanwhile, My Life With the Walter Boys season three, which has been in the global charts for four weeks now, is still somehow managing to maintain a respectable position. Jackie has no peace this season too because she and Cole finally give their relationship a chance, only for the season to end with Cole in a rollover crash while Eliot kisses Jackie. Seriously, when will this woman settle?

Rounding things out are Raw, Let’s Marry Harry: The Reunion, Talamasca: The Secret Order season one and Love Is Blind: UK season three, which gives this chart the exotic touch it deserves.
