The 10 most popular series on Netflix this week: August 2025
The most popular chart on Netflix this week is literally a buffet. We have got a dish full of spooky, dramatic, funny, wholesome, and straight-up chaotic. It seems like the streamer knows we’re all in different moods and just said, “Fine, take everything.” And honestly? There is nothing to complain about.
At the top, we have Wednesday: Season 2. Obviously. Jenna Ortega and her deadpan mayhem have basically taken over everyone’s brain again. The second season just dropped, and it is already eating, climbing straight to number one like it was born for it. What’s even funnier is that season one is back on the list too, sitting pretty at number three. Because apparently, no one can just watch the new stuff without rewatching the old.
Then, right behind it, we have a brand new entry: Fit for TV: The Reality of the Biggest Loser. And this one is big-time messy. It’s digging into The Biggest Loser and all the chaos behind that weight-loss competition, and let’s just say it is not pretty. Netflix documentaries really know how to stir the pot, and this one clearly has people hooked because who doesn’t love a little scandal served with their popcorn?
After comes UNTAMED. The name says it all. If you haven’t started it, prepare for a wild ride. It is one of those series where you think you will just watch one episode, and suddenly it’s 3 am and your sleep schedule is crying in the corner. Sitting at number four, it has clearly become the sleeper hit of the week.
At number five is The Hunting Wives. Honestly, the title alone had us ready for scandal, and it delivers. Think rich, messy women making bad decisions. It is exactly the kind of soapy thriller that scratches the exact same itch as Big Little Lies. People love drama, and Netflix knows it.
Then we’ve got Sullivan’s Crossing: Season 3, followed by Raw at number seven. At number eight, you have Love Is Blind: UK. This show is proving that British awkwardness mixed with blind dating pods is peak entertainment. There is just something about watching people fall in love through a wall that never stops being funny.
And then, Jim Jefferies showed up with Two Limb Policy, because why not? A stand-up special cracking into the Top 10 means people needed a laugh this week. Honestly, after watching all the breakups, scandals, and murders, it makes sense.
Finally, the real wild card: Ms Rachel, Season 1. Parents clearly handed Netflix to their toddlers and said, “Please, save us.” And you know what? It worked. Ms Rachel cracked the Top 10, and there is something so fun about the fact that we live in a world where Wednesday Addams and a preschool teacher are sharing the same chart.
