The series that delves into the origins of the opioid crisis in America may not be as well-written as Dopesick but is turning out to be more accessible because of its flashy treatment of the real events.
At the third spot, we have Ballers, making an impact with its first season. Drawing in 18.4m hours viewed and 3.9m views within just a week, this series stars Dwayne Johnson as former NFL player Spencer Strasmore who has to find a resurrect his career after retirement.
In the fourth position, the reality series At Home With The Furys presents an intriguing blend of family dynamics and drama. This debut season has garnered 16.9 million hours viewed. It follows the heavyweight champion Tyson Fury “as he exits the ring and tries to embrace retirement with his family including his wife, Paris, father, John, and his six children.”
Proving its staying power, The Lincoln Lawyer secures the fifth spot, now in its seventh week on the top ten charts. With an impressive 23.5m hours viewed and 2.9m views, the legal drama continues to enthral viewers.
Switching gears to family-friendly entertainment, Gabby’s Dollhouse claims the sixth position in its eighth week. This animated delight has achieved 6.4m hours viewed and 2.6m views.
The final season of The Witcher with Henry Cavill at the helm, season three holds the seventh place for eight weeks in a row. The fantasy series has accumulated 14.7m hours viewed.
Next, we have The Upshaws part four, starring the comedy legend Wanda Sykes, which has secured the eighth spot in its debut week on the top ten chart, followed by Mech Cadets. The animated series follows “teenager Stanford Yu sets out to become a pilot for one of the Robo Mechs that has come to Earth’s aid following an attack by an alien species.”
Rounding off the top ten, Heartstopper season two. The series continues to resonate with audiences seeking tender stories of love, coming-of-age, and connection.
